Enrolled Agent exam course
Become an Enrolled Agent — the highest credential the IRS awards, and the only one that lets you represent taxpayers in all fifty states without a state licence.
What the credential gets you
An Enrolled Agent is licensed federally by the U.S. Treasury. Unlike a CPA licence, which is granted state by state, an EA licence travels with you nationwide.
- Unlimited rights to represent taxpayers before the IRS
- Valid in every state — no separate state licensing
- No degree requirement to sit the exam
- Handle audits, collections and appeals for clients
The three parts of the SEE
Part 1 — Individuals
Filing requirements, income and assets, deductions and credits, taxation of individuals, and advising individual taxpayers. Most candidates sit this first.
Part 2 — Businesses
Business entities, accounting methods, business income and expenses, specialised returns, and the taxation of partnerships and corporations. The longest of the three.
Part 3 — Representation
Practices and procedures, representation before the IRS, building and maintaining a practice, and the rules of Circular 230. Usually the shortest study period.
Your path to becoming an Enrolled Agent
Get a PTIN
Obtain a Preparer Tax Identification Number from the IRS — the prerequisite for sitting the exam.
Study with us
Work through all three parts with structured lessons, practice questions and review sessions.
Pass all three parts
Sit them in any order at a Prometric test centre. Passed parts carry forward while you complete the rest.

Schedule C filers, contractors and side-income earners — including estimated payments and self-employment tax.

Schedule E properties, capital gains, dividends and interest reported correctly the first time.
